Dr. Andreas Jacobs
Chairman
Dr. Jacobs studied Economics from the Universities of Bern and Rochester (New York, USA), before becoming a lecturer for Financial Management at the University of Bern and at the Zurich University for applied sciences in Winterthur, near Zurich. Since 1997, he has lectured at the AZEK (Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals), exploring the subject of Modern Portfolio Theory.
He has 15 years of practical experience at the Swiss Bank Corporation and at UBS Asset Management as Managing Director and as a member of the European Management Committee, where he was responsible for the global product management of investment funds. He was also a member of the Management Committee of UBS Switzerland, responsible for segment management and marketing.
Since 2010, he has been Chairman of the Board and member of the Executive Committee of OLZ. He is also partner and Chief Financial Officer at Aravis AG, a Swiss venture capital organization with a special focus on life sciences and renewable energies.
Andreas is married, and the father of two daughters.


Dr. Beat Fenner
Vice-Chairman
Dr. Fenner has law degrees from the Universities of Zurich and Geneva.
A retired banker, his last position was as a member of the directorate at Credit Suisse.
He has been a member of the Board of OLZ since 2006, where he has contributed his 30 years worth of international business experience.
He is married, with three children and two grandchildren.


Prof. Dr. Claudio Loderer
Founding partner
Claudio is a full professor of Financial Management at the University of Bern and Director of the Rochester-Bern Executive MBA Program.
Prof. Loderer's research and professional areas include valuations, corporate finance, corporate governance, risk management, capital markets, and incentive systems and compensation plans. His research has led him to publish several articles in renowned international financial publications. He is also the author of the standard reference work "Handbuch der Bewertung" (A Handbook of Valuation), which is recommended reading for business students in the region.
With a broad academic and practical understanding of financial management, he regularly undertakes consultancy work for companies, public bodies and private individuals.
He is married, with one daughter and one son.


Carmine Orlacchio
Founding partner, member of the Executive Committee
Carmine was a founding partner of OLZ in 2001, spearheading the Wealth Management department. He is also a member of the Board of the subsidiary OLZ Wealth Management AG in Schaan.
He studied Economics both at the University of Naples (Italy) and Rochester (New York, USA). He also holds a Swiss federal diploma in financial analysis and asset management (Certified International Investment Analyst, CIIA). His fields of expertise are asset allocation and asset management strategies.
Carmine worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Financial Management of the University of Bern. He worked for many years at the IBI Private Bank in Zurich, eventually becoming Head of Asset Management.
He and his wife have two daughters and one son.


Brigitte Sterki Lang
Brigitte graduated with a degree in Law from the University of Bern. She is a registered lawyer and notary in the canton of Solothurn.
It was in Solothurn that she was a legal secretary in the Legal Affairs Services of the Cantonal Department of Home Affairs and the Cantonal Department of Economic Affairs, where she was also Head of the Department of Legal Affairs.
Brigitte has been a Member of the Board of OLZ since 2002. She is married, with one daughter and one son.


Pius Zgraggen
Founding Partner, Member of the Executive Committee, CEO
Pius Zgraggen has been a Founding Partner of OLZ and Chief Executive Officer since 2001. He is Chairman of the Board of the subsidiaries OLZ Wealth Management AG in Schaan and OLZ Wealth Management PTE LTD in Singapore. Since 2008 he has served as a Special Ambassador of the Canton of Uri.
Pius began working in the Swiss Banking Sector in 1989 and gained many years of experience in a host of banking areas including Global Derivatives Risk Measurement & Methodology, Asset Management, Security Trade and Collateral Management. Between 1995 and 2000 he worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for Financial Management at the University of Bern. Pius has published various articles in the field of financial management, products and markets and is a co-author of the standard reference work "Handbuch der Bewertung" (A Handbook of Valuation).
He has been a lecturer at the AZEK (Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals) in Zürich in Equity Analysis and Valuation since 1998, as well as at the PHW (Private Economics University) in Bern in Value Management since 2007.
Pius studied at the Universities of Bern (Switzerland) and Rochester, New York (USA) and graduated magna cum laude with a Master Degree in Economics and Business Administration (lic.rer.pol). He completed PhD courses in finance from CFPI Centre pour la Formation des Professionnels de l'Investissement, ICMB International Center for Monetary and Banking Studies at the University of Geneva and Institute for Financial Management at the University of Bern.
Pius and his wife have one son and one daughter.
