OLZ is an asset manager that focuses on quantitative methods. Our investment philosophy is based on the three principles of diversification, optimization and cost minimization.
OLZ relies strictly and without exception on knowledge of financial markets theory and the latest econometric methodology. The OLZ Efficient World® concept came about in collaboration with research teams from various universities and is regularly reviewed. The basic idea behind the OLZ Efficient World® concept is to set the balance between the individual investments within one investment category in such a way that the portfolio as a whole has an optimal ratio of risk to return.
OLZ Efficient World® guarantees the efficient utilization of the worldwide equity and worldwide bond investment categories. You as the customer decide whether the utilization within this investment category should include the domestic market (Switzerland) or not, and whether it should include foreign currencies. It is also possible to choose the option of OLZ Efficient World® strategies that combine other investment categories in a so-called mixed mandate.
OLZ Efficient World® strategies regarding institutional funds are available in various forms. With an investment of CHF 10 million or more (or the equivalent in other currencies) you can give us a direct mandate with your own specific investment guidelines.
OLZ Optimized Swiss Equities is the utilization of the investment category Swiss equities. The Swiss stock indices are concentrated on a small number of large companies and are consequently exposed to cluster risks. OLZ optimization results in a balanced portfolio that combines Swiss equities and an optimized risk-return profile.
